switching from msn version ofIE 8

I got a new computer which has the msn version of IE 8. I don't like it and
would like to download the "regular" version. But when I go to the download
page I don't get an option to download another version because the site
"senses" that I already have 8 installed.
Does anyone know how to fix this and install the non-msn version of IE 8?

if you can delete it from control panel/software,

i suggest to try to download it
(from:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/int...ide-sites.aspx)

and than delete it, reboot, and install the downloaded version.

Remove IE8:

"How do I uninstall or remove Internet Explorer 8?"
When you remove Internet Explorer 8, your earlier version of Internet
Explorer is restored with your customizations (such as add-ins, Favorites,
and your home page).

Then reinstall IE8.
