Netbooks and IE8

I recently purchased a net book with Vista Home Basic on it and I was
wondering if it can handle IE8. I have tried doing research but have found
nothing on the subject, any help is appreciated.

Net Book spec are:

Windows Vista Home Basic
AMD Athlon 64 L110
2GB Memory
250GB HD

my guess is yes because I've been runnine ie8 on an asus EEE since ie8 came
out.
no problems. (mine has an atom cpu at @1.6 GHrz and XP home.)
