IE won't let me log into any sites

It just started yesterday morning, but since then, i have not been able to
log into any websites. It keep resulting in a error saying "internet explorer
cannot display the webpage" whenever i press submit or log in. I have tried
installing and uninstalling both IE 7 and IE 8, i'm pretty sure this isn't a
problem with my connection since i can still log in with the ie from other
computers in my home, and because firefox can log in just fine. I have also
tried deleting the browsing history, and setting the settings to match that
of other computers, but nothing has worked so far...

Have you tried a reset of IE settings from Internet Options> Advanced?

Useful for recovering stored passwords before a reset clears all stored
login
