Photos

Since I've been downloading pictures of my new granddaughter, seems like my
hard drive is going down really fast.
Is there a way to store pictures on a computer without using so much hard
drive space?
I'm new to this and my computer is slowing down all the time. Using Picasa
as picture program.

Some picture formats are larger than others. For example: .tif and .bmp
are larger files than .jpg files. What format are you using to save
those pictures?

Consider buying an external hard drive to store your pictures.
