IE8 deleting history

I have IE8 set to delete history when I close the browser. I hate the
stupid popup that appears when I close down IE that tells me it's deleting
history. Is there a way to suppress it?

Hi Andre:

I never get a popup asking me to delete, as you indicate, and I have my
IE8 to Delete history when I exit. You might check on Settings to the right
and see if you have Days to keep pages in history set to "O". This might be
the cause?

I also have Popup Blocker turned off.

Thanks for the reply. It's not a popup asking if I want to delete, but
rather a popup that shows in the upper left that says "deleting history"
when I close IE. I'd prefer to not see it at all.

Do all your browsing in the InPrivate Browsing mode and you will probably
not see it anymore....

Um, because it's annoying, and stupid. I just want it to do it's thing w/o
telling me.

Most of the annoyance stems from the fact that often times I'm remote
desktop'd to another box. I come back to my box to research something on
the Internet. When I close IE and go back to my full-screen RD session, the
"deleting history" dialog reverts the control back to my local box. As I
said, it's annoying and I just want it to delete my history - I don't really
care that it's doing it - just do it.

to open an InPrivate window, but is there a way to change it so that "any"
IE browser I open is InPrivate?
