Homepage: Are you running XP Pro, Home or Media Center? If you type
gpedit.msc into Start> Run does Policy Editor open? XP Home won't have this.
If Policy Editor opens, in the left pane, drill down through Computer
Configuration> Administrative Templates> Windows Components> Internet
Explorer. Select Internet Explorer, move to the right pane. Scroll down to
"Disable changing homepage settings." Right-click that option> Properties>
Explain> change the setting.
