Ie8 Startup Sound

Recently, when I start IE8, I get a crumpled paper and screech sound. I have
searched for the cause to no avaul. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi,
1. Go to Start> Control Panel (or Start> Settings> Control Panel)> Sounds>
Sounds and try Windows and Windows Explorer sounds such as Open Program,
Start Navigation, Blocked pop-up, etc.
2. IE> Tools> Pop-up blocker> Settings, is that set to play a sound?
3. Check settings of third-party programs (security, privacy, etc.) Is one
of those playing the sound when it blocks a cookie or performs some other
action?
