64bit IE 8

I just bought a hp firebird pc w/Vista64, I looked at "about IE" and it
doesn't say anything about 64bit so I'm assuming it's 32 bit, I tried to
download IE8/64 and it said that it was already installed, but how do I use
it?

Have you also figured out that you should be concentrating on and posting to
microsoft.public.windows.64bit.general newsgroup?

I bought it because it came with the system just associated 64 bit with
faster speed... Why do you ask and is there a list from MS regarding all the
diff. between 32 and 64bit IE8?

IF and IF it is just a hardware topic, then WHY ON EARTH are there different
32-bit and a 64-bit OSs?
