Internet Explorer 8 - Issues

Hi,

I have recently Installed IE8 over exisiting IE6.
Whenever I start an IE session, it does not show me a tabbed interface.
After I enter the URL, IE starts a new window with the tabbed interface and
opens the URL entered in the first window in this second newly created window.

Can any one please help with why it is happening and what I can do to
resolve it

Is your homepage in Trusted Sites? IE7 & IE8 will open a new window, not a
new tab, when navigating from a Trusted Site to one in the Internet Zone.
Remove the homepage from Trusted Sites or use a blank homepage.
