Re: IE7 will not show up or run
Starting with IE 7, Internet Explorer no longer places an icon on the
desktop.
To place a shortcut to Internet Explorer on your desktop, right-click on
the desktop and select New > Shortcut.
In the 'Type the location of the item' box type:
"%programfiles%\internet explorer\iexplore.exe"
and click Next. (Be sure to include the quotes.) Call the shortcut
Internet Explorer and click Finish.
