IE 8 cut & Paste

--In the last week, cut and pasting, once I highlite the text to copy, right
click and the highlight goes away and you cannot copy to clipboard.

Highlight the text and press CTRL+C.

What happens if you highlight the text and use Ctrl-C to copy? Then use
Ctrl-V to paste?

The right click has to be in the highlighted area.
Have you tried a different mouse?
