XUpload/JUpload Error message

I need to use XUpload on one of the sites I use for maintaining a website.
I'm getting the following error: 'document.forms.Form1.JUpload' is null or
not an object. When I contacted support, they said I need to disable JUpload
and allow Java scripts to run. How can I do this?

Also, I recently installed IE8. This application is working on Firefox.
