Internet Protected Mode

How do I on my Internet Protected Mode? Out of the blue I noticed that it
was off & don't know how it happened. Am I in real danger with it being off.
I tried looking & playing around with Internet Security Properities but had
no luck.

Hi,
You turn on Protected Mode from Internet Options> Security.

If the OS is Vista, UAC (User Account Control) must be on for Protected Mode
to be working. Turn on UAC from Control Panel> User Accounts.
