NETGEAR ROUTER R - FILTERS REMOVED

Hi! IE8 has a function to check the internet connection in case of problems.
My router prevents my son's pc to access the internet outside the schedule:
this new function in IE8 "repairs" the connection avoiding the router's
filters and prohibitions making it possible for my son's pc to surf....
What can I do?

Internet Explorer is not able to undo or supersede a router's
configuration settings.

From the Subject line it seems you have a Netgear router. I suggest you
contact Netgear technical support and/or their user forums.

I would have expected the same, but to my great astonishment, it did.... I
have contacted NETGEAR and wait for their reply as well.
