Not recording history?

I've been looking at some cars

eventually bought one - went to find details I had seen but all that was
recorded in the history was http://www.autotrader.co.uk/
(homepage)???????????????????

What's going off? do i need to change settings to record history properly

If you saw other stuff using HTTPS I think that would be normal
not to see it listed there. You might have better luck saving such links
as Favorites but then seeing them again could depend on things like
Cookies being current.
