IE8 errors

I am running XP Prof SP3 and ever since I downloaded IE8 my computer is
running super slow and 9 out of 10 times when I am trying to to access
different areas I get the IE has an error and then I have to wait for it to
try to recover my page. Sometimes this happens 4 or 5 times before I can
continue. Anyone else with this problem? I want to go back to the previous
version of IE, it ran great!

You should attempt to resolve the IE8 issues. It may not be too difficult.

Try these fairly easy procedures before uninstalling IE8.

1. With the warning that a reset will delete autocomplete data, such as
passwords and you will have to reinstall or re-enable browser add-ons, work
through this article:

Useful for recovering stored passwords before you clear all stored login

2. You may have an incompatible browser add-on installed. (Also covered in

3. Are you running antivirus or a security suite from McAfee or Norton? Is
the program updated automatically? Was the program running when IE8 was
installed?
