Hi Microsoft,
I am really enjoying the new IE 8. My favorite features are In-Private
browsing and the Smart Screen filter. The Smart Screen filter is much better
than the Phishing Filter in IE 7 because it does not slow down the browser.
My suggestion is about Text Sizes. I would like to see an IE 8 update that
allows Text Sizes in to be incremented in percentages like the Zoom feature
currently has. Instead of Smallest, Small, Medium, Large, and Largest, use a
percent feature like Firefox does that goes up in 1% increments. Right now,
from the earliest days of IE, sometimes the Medium option text is too small
and the Large text is too big.
If MS chooses the percent indicator for text sizes, the engineers should
make sure that it holds from page to page. This way, customers could get
EXACTLY the font sizes that they want.
