uninstalling IE8

I had a program that wouldn't work with IE7 so i stayed with 6. I thought
maybe IE8 would work but it doesn't so I need ot uninstall 8 and go back to
6. I remember there used to be a way but I don't remember it. How can I do
this? Thanks

How do I uninstall or remove Internet Explorer 8?
