IE 8 Popup

Every day when I go online, I first get a pop-up asking me if I want to
install IE 8. I already installed IE 8. How do I get rid of this pop-up?

Details? What are you doing when you "go online"?

Try doing something different? E.g. Run... (press Win-R and enter

iexplore.exe -nohome -extoff

Presumbably you don't see this pop-up then?
So, try going somewhere from there. E.g. use a link in the Help menu.
Press Alt-H,S. What do you see then? Hopefully something different?
