Partial download only when viewing pdf's
Hi, On the whole IE is working fine but when I click on a link to view a
manual or a form from a web site I get an error message from Adobe Acrobat
saying file is corrupt and cannot be recovered. If I download an executable
file I get an error message saying the downloaded file is not a valid Win32
executable. When I look at the Properties of the downloaded file I find it is
only a few hundred kbytes instead of the several megabytes of the file to be
downloaded.
I have reset the version of IE (IE7) in use when problem occurred. This had
no effect. I have installed IE8 (with difficulty) - no improvement.
I tried to download a Humux PVR9300T manual and found only first page (of
63) was displayed in Acrobat. I made the Acrobat page full screen and
repeatedly tried the refresh (F5) button. I noticed that the "done" status
message appeared after only 194K of 6.3M were downloaded - BUT when I moved
the mouse continuously I found the download worked.
Appreciate any idea's. Thanks
