IE8 Doesn't Open Homepage

I have a Dell server that acts as a terminal server, running IE8. I
have set the group policy to open an Intranet page as it's homepage,
however whenever I open IE8 it opens the Dell.com page. If I click on
the homepage button, it goes to the right address. Does anyone have
any idea for how to remove this Dell.com setting from my users'
desktops?

So, obviously whatever you are doing is opening Dell.com
not, for example, just executing iexplore.exe

Stop doing whatever it is that you are doing and just Run...
iexplore.exe

Hint: right-click Properties, may show you whatever it is that you
are doing differently. ; )
