IE7/8 refresh bug
If i get a web page time out - IE7/8 wont refresh it (the original URL)

It just refreshes (re-draws) the timed out page - what's the point of that?

Even retyping the URL, IE7/8 wont refresh

You have to close the explorer pane and start over (rendering 'refresh'
feature totally redundant)

Re: IE7/8 refresh bug
What page, for instance?

IE Tools | Internet Options | General | Browsing history | Settings | Check
for newer versions of stored pages: What's selected here?

Are you on dial-up and is a "web accelerator" installed?

Re: IE7/8 refresh bug
Check for newer versions = Automatic
10 m meg BB connection
No accelerator

Couple forums i write to are very laggy and sometimes time out

All refresh does is redraw timed out page (it doesn't even attempt the URL)
I've even retyped last part of the URL and it just redraws timed out page
"web page not found... etc"
It basically remembers it cant find it
I have to close the page - click on the original link, which opens new page
and re-tries the url properly
