Search bar
I lost IE6 search bar (search field) next to address bar. How do I
enable it again? Could not find setting anywhere. IE6 with XP SP3

I actually had a search bar just to the right of the address bar. It was
there every time I opened IE6. I could type into it without any other
windows opening.

You're describing a feature which was first available in IE7.

Have you recently uninstalled IE8 or IE7, Kenn?

Yes, I did. I tried IE8, but went back to IE6. Had problems with OE6
after I installed IE8.

The "search bar (search field)" you describe is only available in IE7 and
IE8.
