CTL-J

How do I tell IE 8 not to do anything when I hit Ctl-J (My Oracle
application within IE uses Ctl-J for itself, and I don't want my
favorites window coming up as well).

Hello,

Don't think it is possible, unless perhaps a third party app to prevent
Ctrl+J keys not to be sent to Internet Explorer.

Try to remap the trigger key in the Oracle app itself.
