Problem with an alpha-transparent PNG in IE8

Hi,

I have a problem with an alpha-transparent PNG that's not displayed by IE8
according to my intentions, but it does work fine in other browsers (Firefox,
Opera, Safari).

It is displayed on this page: http://www.skyeurope.com on the top,
right-hand side (it's the background image of the language selection
drop-down menu).

The image is located here: http://www.skyeurope.com/Img/lang-dropdown-bg.png

If anyone has any idea what is causing the problem and why it's not working
despite the fact that alpha-transparent PNGs should work in IE since IE7, I'd
be very thankful.

Using the F12 Image Report and Colors dialog it seems to be getting
some of the Background color, at least when Windows Colors
isn't checked. I didn't bother trying to change my Windows background
color but FWIW I couldn't see your "transparent" PNG then at all.
Developer Toolbar Find tool (Ctrl-b) shows that it is still there however;
e.g. white on a white background.
