Session Timeout preventer add in

I use a couple of web sites that timeout after maybe 10 minutes forcing me
to logon several time a day.

Is there a way to periodically submit some kind of entry every 'n' minutes
to keep the session alive? Maybe an add-in is available that does this?

BTW, some of the sessions are HTTPS.
