How to enable to save log in info?

Hi,

I have IE 7 on XP. Every time when I go the web page that I visited before,
I have to type the log in user name. How can IE remember it? The autocomplete
is enabled.

Any help will be appreciated!

Is there a little box you can check on the log-in page that says "remember
me"?

Hello,

Try resetting your AutoComplete. Note that this will *clear* all saved
passwords.
For IE7: Start > Control Panel > Internet Options > Delete > Delete forms
For IE8: Start > Control Panel > Internet Options > Delete > (check only
passwords > Delete

If it still doesn't work, some sites inform IE to disable Autocomplete on
certain fields. You can forcefully enable it back with this bookmarklet

Even still, it will work in some sites due to their JavaScript way of
submitting the form. E.g. Facebook.

On the Facebook log-in screen there's a "Remember Me" checkbox - like I said

The remember me box is related to the cookie(s) the site will download. If
you clear your coolies, you have to log in again. It does not interact with
IE's autocomplete.
