from what I see, npieaddon itself is not malware, but is often packaged with
it. However, it may be on a system that is clean, and the file itself is
clean.
Regardless, it is still causing crashes, you can disable it by opening
inetcpl.cpl, click programs, click manage add-ons, and then select NP Helper
class, and disable it.
The following registry entries should work too:
