IE 8 font/font size change after yesterday's patch - anyone else?

Has anyone else's IE 8 default font/font size changed after the July 28
security patch? The type seems smaller and a different style.

Not here. Same font and size before and after.

Since this discussion may be over your head, I'll explain: Now that I
have answered the OPs question, they know that the update is not likely
the cause of their problem, and can look elsewhere.

In similar fashion, posters will sometimes post a URL they cannot reach
and ask if anyone else is having trouble with the URL. (There's even a
website dedicated to this type of question.) Our responses can help them
decide whether the website is down, or something is else is preventing
the OP from reaching the page.

I am the Original Poster and appreciate the response. No it doesn't answer
why my font seems to have changed but it does answer my question.

If someone else responds they have the same issue, then we have a
discussion. If not, I will ask what I can do about my font size in another
question (or just live with it, like most mysterious Softie events).

Works for me.

Your font (sizes or default family) could have changed after a recent
updated and you re-booted your machine if you have removed any desktop theme
software from the windows startup (because the third-party theme was not
applied during the re-boot)
or
you have changed any of IE's Accessibility settings to ignore font sizes or
font families specified on web pages.

Thanks for your suggestions. I never applied any themes or changed any
accessibility setting (or any other settings). I've always used IE without
ANY changes applied other than selecting Google as my search engine.
