Outlook web access times out of IE 8 Vista OS

I am running IE 8 on a Vista pc accessing my Outlook though Exchange server
using Web Access. Many of my users complain of not being able to reply to
messages or open a new message without outlook timing out and forcing to
relog on.
any help would be appreciated
