compatibility view button not shown

Hi,

A site that uses IE7 (and older) specific stuff. When added via the tools,
compatibility menu it will show correctly. No problem there but....
I simply wanted to push the compatibility buttond near the address bar and
IE8 does not show it.

Why would IE8 not show the compatibility button when the site visted is a
IE7 site?
