Re: Help
That's a generic message that doesn't really say much. We'll need much
more detail to help you.

1. Whenever you ask about Internet Explorer, we need to know what
version of Windows you have (include the service pack).

2. Please describe the problem you are experiencing. Do you see any
messages on the desktop? Please post the complete text.

3. What exactly are you trying to do with Internet Explorer when you
experience your problem?

4. Did you have the same problem with IE 7, before you upgraded to IE 8?

Re: Help
Hello,

Try running IE7 without any add-ons.

Go to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools >
Internet Explorer 7 (No Add-ons) to start without any add-ons. Try using the
browser and see if the same problem arises.

If the problem does not occur again, start IE7 normally, go to Tools >
Manage Add-ons and disable all the add-ons. Enable each add-on one at each
time and see if the problem occurs again. Once it occurs again after
enabling an add-on, you have nailed the culprit.

(if the menu bar does not appear, hit the Alt key on the keyboard)

Be leery of advice from a SPAMMER who has a different agenda than the
pretense of giving help. This one does knows how to put his spam in a
signature but refuses to do so because some newsreaders strip off the
signature. He wants to ensure you see his spam.

Using WinXP running IE 8, and now IE 7 and still have this problem: Here is
what I get when I go to a webpage:

Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry
for the inconvenience.

If you were in the middle of something, the info you were working on might
be lost.

For more info, click here:

Which then displays:
