IE8 InPrivate browsing / filtering
Every time when I start IE8, InPrivate browsing and filtering are turned off.
If I want to use any of them I have to turn each one on manually.

Is there a way to have these 2 features turned on automatically each time I
start IE8?

Thanks

Charles.

Re: IE8 InPrivate browsing / filtering
Find the answer the same way we do: with a search engine.

For example, by opening Google and using this as my search term...

start internet explorer in inprivate browsing by default

....I found this:

"How to Start Internet Explorer 8 in InPrivate Browsing Mode by Default"

To have InPrivate Browsing enabled when you start IE8, use a
command-line parameter in a shortcut you create to start IE8. In the
shortcut, use:

target: "%programfiles%\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -private

I won't go into why always enabling InPrivate Filtering is unwise (if
you want, I can find my reply in a prior post through a Google Groups
search). Most users don't understand how to use it or why it gets used
and the result of leaving it always on will result in effects they won't
like after awhile. But if you feel the need for it without knowing why,
