Yahoo Page won't display

I'm trying to sign onto my Yahoo home page using IE6 SP1 but getting Can't
Find Server, The page cannot be displayed errors. However, it will display
using Firefox. Can someone explain why IE can't access the server? I wish I
could upgrade my browser but I'm stuck with using Windows 2000.

Post the complete (verbatim) error message, please.

The problem seems to have fixed itself after I rebooted the computer.

That might just be an extreme method of clearing the dnscache. ; )

Next time try (in a cmd window):

ipconfig /flushdns
