Re: IE 8 and Icon Problems

This icon problem occurred enough times in the upgrade from IE6 to IE7 that
there's an MSKB article.
930426- The default system icon is displayed for Internet shortcut files

I had no icon problems going to IE7 or IE8, but there are no guarantees. I
have seen fewer reports of problems when going from IE7 to IE8 than from IE6
to IE7, but there are no guarantees that *your* icons won't change. ;-)
