Using OWA, open image attachments in IE not Photo Viewer

It used to be possible that when I was reading mail in OWA and I opened a JPG
attachment to the message that i opened in IE. Now they open in Photo Viewer,
seems silly that I can view word docs with "open as web page" but not images.

I looked at default programs and didn't see how to change this.

Hi Peaboy,

Windows Version and service pack level? IE version? Private or company
computer?

We are just guessing without this information.

Hello,

First, save the JPG in your desktop. Go to your desktop > Right-Click the
file > click Open With > Choose Program > click 'Windows Picture and Fax
Viewer' (or the program you prefer to have JPG files open with) > CHECK the
box 'Always use the selected program to open this kind of file' > OK

Try again and it should open with the correct program
