Ctrl-A is Select All (text). So I have no idea what you infer by that.
I've used Tools > Internet Options > Programs to set NotePad++ which does
appear in the DropDownList but it is not being used by IE.
I wonder if there is a Registry setting I can hack????

in knots. Just View the source on a large website and press
