hot keys

I'm use to using hot keys with the other programs I work with on a daily
basis via Remote Control to another PC. Simple short cuts such as Alt+S ,
Alt+O, Alt+P. Now when I attempt to use these hot keys I get a pop up menu.
How can I stop the pop up menus?

Are you referring to IE? If so, which version of IE and in which OS?

I've updated to IE 8 on Vista. I use Log Me In to log into my work computer,
when logged into my work computer I've always been able to use the hot keys
for the programs on that computer now they are options on a pop up menu.
I've also had trouble toggling when logged into my work computer. Hopefully
there is a solution otherwise I will just have to go back to the old version
of IE.
