First step would be to see if someone has already done this...
Right-click, All Accelerators, Find More Accelerators
E.g. perhaps you could find some clues about how to do it
from one of the examples here:

Then go to Merriam-Webster Help pages.

no mention of IE or Firefox.) So, look for help here:

Another alternative would be to create an Address bar keyword shortcut
(aka "Search Prefix"). E.g. XP users can use TweakUI to do that.
Simply decide on a simple keyword name and then make a template
out of your sample URL.
So, perhaps:
