Multiposting: Post the same message in multiple newsgroups.

Crossposting: Posting one (1) message to multiple newsgroups.

To illustrate, I shall crosspost this reply to Windows Update, IE General,
and IE Beta newsgroups. You will find this reply in each newsgroup. If you
reply to this post and continue the crossposting, your reply will appear in
all 3 newsgroups, too.

Re: Is IE8 a High Priority Update?

Thanks PA Bear, the difference between "Multi and Cross" I did understood.
"How to" is what I didn't know because I didn't realize about the "Advanced
Options" feature, which I'll try later whenever needed again.
Thanks again and Regards,
RickCP.

Re: Is IE8 a High Priority Update?
Crossposting is a snap when using an NNTP newsreader to access MS
newsgroups.

Setting up Outlook Express to access Microsoft newsgroups

Setting up Windows Mail (Vista) to access Microsoft newsgroups
