How to uninstall IE 8 browser plugins/addons ?

Recently I installed a browser plugin/addon but want to uninstalled again.

Where can I uninstall it? In Control Panel->Software it is not listed

Hi Paul,

XP - Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs
Vista - Start>Control Panel>Programs and Features

If you can't find it in the lists then

Tools>Manage Addons

Right click on the column header and select Columns>Folder (to view the
installation folder of the Addon).

Find your Addon in the list and select it. Double click on it to display its
properties and make a note of its installation folder. This is where
software usually places an uninstall.exe file (the name may have numbers
before the .exe part).
Press the Copy button and paste the details back on this thread for us to
research and maybe find the removal instructions.,

Close the Properties dialog.

Keep the Addons Manager open.

Open File Explorer (explorer.exe) and navigate to the folder you found above
and look for a file with a name like uninstall(x).exe.

Double click it to start the un-installation process.

If you can't find that file, go back to the Addons manager and you will see
a link at the bottom of the Addons manager to "Search for this Addon using
your default Search Provider". Double click it and a web search may give you
instructions on how to remove it.

I'm experiencing the same problem with removing the Java Plug-in.
OK here's the story.
I'm trying to install 64bit java because i need to use ie8 64bit, however, i still need the 32bit java. Java.com said i can install both. so i successfully installed the 64 bit, but now my 32 bit is not working. i know i did something stupid like deleting files because my current java is corrupted. but the bottom line is i deleted all java files and applications including the 64bit java in my windows and i tried installing the 32 bit again but im now getting an error message saying ive already installed it and i need to reinstall, when i clicked yes, it not letting me. so i followed some instructions in the web and now im stuck with removing the plug in.
