Will IE support 3D web open standards

With the recent announcements by the likes of Google and Mozilla to support
either their own (O3D) or de facto (COLLADA) 3D for the web standards, is
Microsoft going to support the existing 3D web open standard X3D in IE?

I know that MS has been involved with the standards body in the past, but
now that more are moving towards 3D on the web, plus the need for competitive
advantage over competitors in the browser race, will they also join the
existing open standard 3D web evolution?
