Slow downloads

I have Windows 7 RC with the final version of IE8 (just did a clean install).
When I'm downloading files (especially zip files) it takes a long time for
the download to finish up. It gets to the last 1% and then it seems to hang.

For example, downloading eclipse from www.eclipse.org takes about 3-4 min to
get to the last 1% and then additional 10 min for the download to actually
finish.

Firefox, for example, does not have the same issue. It downloads the whole
file in about 4 minutes.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

P.S. I have a 6 Mbit download speed.
