Internet Explorer

I use Mozilla Firefox. Do I still need Internet Explorer to run some
programs? I am sorry, but Internet Explorer has always been nothing but a
problem for me on 2 computers now, and I prefer Mozilla as it is far more
efficient.

You can disable access to IE in Vista and earlier Windows versions but you
cannot remove/uninstall it.

As your OS depends on IE, keep it fully patched even if you never use it as
your browser.
