Can IE8 User collapse Favorites subfolders?

Has MS 'fixed' the IE7 functional inability to collapse Subfolders w/in
Folders when viewing "Add to Favorites" in IE8?
Had to update an old Access db & forms (i.e. Webtrack) to manage
bookmarks/resources; still contemplating return to IE6.
Thanks for (possibly) saving me the time of installation...

Collapse Favorites subfolders in IE8 Do not work just like in IE7. This is a
big problem for us with a huge favorites library with subfolders in
subfolders.... It take minutes instead of seconds to add a favorite in the
right folder. It is really unbelievable that Microsoft not has fixed this
ether in IE7 or in IE8.
(The collapse checkbox you can mark do only work then you open favorites,
NOT then you Add to favorites)
I do really hope they hav fired the one who made this change from old good
IE6.
This problem made me install Firefox and reinstall Internet explorer 6
again. Is this what Microsoft want? Internet is full of people who hate this
problem.
Microsoft, Please Help us with Internet Explorer 7 and Internet Explorer 8
expanded folders problem!

I haven't used the "Add Favorites" function for years - I just open the
Favorites sidebar and drag the location to the folder I want to save it
in...much easier
