IE8 adding MSN, My MSN, MSN Money to my favorites toolbar

If I wanted to have this crap repeatedly added to my toolbar, I would ask for
it.
Every time I reboot I get this garbage from IE8 on my toolbar.

Any suggestions as to how to make that crap stop?

Switch to Firefox so we don't have to put up with your cr*p in the
Microsoft newsgroups.

I'm having this problem too. All of my friends who are knowledgeable about computers suggest the same thing - use Firefox, Google Chrome, whatever. I DON'T WANT TO USE ANY OF THAT. If I wanted to, I wouldn't have asked in the first place.

I also need a solution to this problem.
Help please, with an actual solution.

I figured it out. A tech logged into my computer and did it for me while I watched.

Under "Tools" go to "Internet Options" then the "Advanced" Tab. Uncheck "enable third party browser extensions". That's it.

Nevermind. Didn't work. I'll call the tech again and report whatever supposed fix he gives me...
