IE8: how to save Flash content on disk
Hi,

I'm trying to save Flash Player content on harddrive (in IE8). For some
reason, there aren't any SWF files in: C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files -
folder. It did work in IE6: SWF files were created.
What do I need to do to have IE8 create SWF files on harddrive?

Thanks,
Boris

Re: IE8: how to save Flash content on disk
They're not stored there, ActiveX files are.

The swf flash files will be downloaded to a subfolder of:
C:\Documents and Settings\{username}\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\

Thanks for the info.
But who provides guarantee that this program isn't spyware or virus? Does
Microsoft provide such guarantee?

Re: IE8: how to save Flash content on disk
This program didn't work for me. I needed to save (to a file) Flash Player
video stream - it's not really a link to file on some web page, but rather
(near) real-time video stream. I bought Replay Media Catcher - it worked
just fine for me.
