IE8 session cookies?

Currently running WinXP Home SP3 w/IE7. Tried IE8 for a couple of days, no
problems save for one "cookie" issue. I uninstalled IE8 and all is well.

XP + IE7 = No issues, works great.

XP + IE8 = Works great, one annoying issue.

This is an issue on ALL of my subscribed forums. IE8 will not remember/use
cookie login info. I have to login to the forums each time IE8 is restarted.
I'm running default values for security and privacy functions, medium-high
and medium, respectively. Preserve is turned off.

Open forum, login, check remember login box. I'm in. Exit IE8, open IE8, go
to forum, need to login again. IE7 never had an issue.

I deleted all of the session cookies for the forums in the event that IE8
was "doing something different" with cookie handling.

I could use auto fill, but, the cookies should do it for me. Any ideas?
