IE8
I am wondering if there is any way to remove IE8 and replace it with IE6
or IE7 my wife has IE8 on her system got there because of Automatic
Updates? The IT folks at the University have determined that IE8 is not
compatible with the PeopleSoft software that they use.

How to uninstall or remove Internet Explorer 8
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/957700

Uninstalling IE8 automatically returns the machine to the previous IE
version.
