Cookies Not Being Deleted in IE8

In delete Browser History I have Cookies checked but they aren't deleted
after clicking the Delete button.
When I open the folder the 30 cookies or so are still there. Any way to get
IE
deltet cookies when it should?

Is the "Preserve" option enabled? That keeps the TIF data for those
sites listed in your Favorites list.

Delete Cookies, close IE, reboot, and check again.

Hi,
1. On the Delete Browsing History screen have you checked "Preserve
Favorites website data?"

2. Is CCleaner installed? Do cookies delete if CCleaner is uninstalled?

3. If you startup in Safe Mode, do Cookies delete properly?
Start Vista in Safe Mode

If cookies delete properly in Safe Mode, that would indicate that a
third-party (security) program, which didn't load in Safe Mode, is
"protecting" cookies.

The "Preserve" was option enabled
